Through our vibrant activities calendar, residents at New Hope Valley have an abundance of opportunities to socialize, explore their interests, and maintain a fulfilling lifestyle. Activities include fitness classes, arts and crafts, in-house musicians and entertainers, outings to local cultural events, games, parties, and dinners for family and loved ones, Men’s Club, religious services, and much more.
Activities are offered several times daily, with exercise typically held in the mornings, and games, crafts, or outings in the afternoons. Nursing and Occupational Therapy students from Saginaw Valley State University also engage in our activities program; this relationship allows residents to discover new activities and friendships while providing students with field experience.
A new activities calendar is created each week to ensure that residents have a variety of activities to choose from.
If you have any ideas or suggestions for activities or would like to volunteer, please contact Gloria Anklam, Activities Director, at (989) 498-4000.
